Single leg chain slings
The build of your chain sling is determined by the necessary weights and type of job to be performed.
Steps to ordering:
LEGS: SINGLE (endless option) or bridle (adjustable option)
ATTACHMENT STYLE/TOP & BOTTOM FITTINGS: see list of common configurations below.
SIZE: Determine the working load limit required to inform size of chain diameter that will be needed.
LENGTH: Confirm the length, including attachments, measured from bearing point to bearing point.
Note, standard chain slings are built with Grade 100 chain.
Common configurations:
SOO: Oblong link + Oblong link
SOS: Oblong link + Sling hook
SOG: Oblong link + Grab hook
SSG: Sling hook + Grab hook
SOPL: Master link + Positive locking hook (standard or swivel)
SGG: Grab hook + Grab hook
SSS: Sling hook + Sling hook
